PROVIDENCE, R.I.-- The Providence College women's soccer team released their 2008 schedule today. It features 11 home games including five games within the BIG EAST Conference. Aside from conference games, the Friars will take on Bryant, Stony Brook, Holy Cross, Davidson, and UMass at Glay Field this year. In their non-conference away schedule, the Friars will visit the University of Hartford, whom they defeated 1-0 last season on campus at PC. The regular season ends with four home games at Glay Field featuring BIG EAST opponents, Notre Dame, DePaul, Syracuse, and St. John's. The season's first kickoff is set for Thursday, August 28 at 4:00 P.M. as PC will battle state rival Bryant University at Glay Field.
