Ben Rohde joined the Friar family in 2004 and is the primary athletic trainer with men's basketball and women's volleyball programs. Prior to Providence College, Rohde worked as the Assistant Director of Sports Medicine and Athletic Training at MVP Physical Therapy. Rohde also spent time at Salem International University and the Atlanta Hawks of the NBA. Rohde received a Bachelor of Science degree from Shenandoah University and an MBA from Providence College. He is certified by the National Strength and Conditioning Association as a Certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist (CSCS). and is certified by the National Athletic Trainers' Association as a Certified Athletic Trainer (ATC). Rohde also has an American Red Cross Disaster Relief Certification. Originally from Columbia, M.D., Ben now resides in Warwick, R.I. with his wife Jennie.
